Where Growth Becomes Momentum

Success at RNGD doesn’t happen by accident, it’s developed, invested in, and earned.

From first-year interns becoming full-time team members to emerging leaders advancing through Academy pathways, these stories highlight the real outcomes of a culture built on accountability, curiosity, and continuous learning.

Working in Precon, I felt apart of the team and knew my contributions to the bid process were playing a role in something bigger. At the conclusion of the summer, I learned more than what can be taught in the classroom and, more importantly, gained confidence in myself. RNGD does a great job of getting you involved in the real activities of the construction process - starting on Day 1.

My internship experience was incredibly educational and rewarding. When I began, I had limited experience and a modest resume, but the team welcomed me with support and encouragement. Throughout my time with the company, I was given the opportunity to learn at my own pace—and because I was eager to absorb as much as possible, the team provided me with challenging tasks. Although I was unfamiliar with the industry at first, I made it a priority to understand the work deeply so I could contribute meaningfully to the team. As my responsibilities grew, I was able to take ownership of key tasks, which not only accelerated my learning but also helped lighten the workload for my teammates. The experience greatly strengthened both my skills and confidence in a professional setting.

From day one, I dove headfirst into the project and quickly found my place within the team’s scheme. After just three months, my internship led to a full-time role as a Project Engineer. I credit this transition to the unwavering commitment of my team and the collaborative environment that RNGD fosters.

I truly believe I learned more in the three months of my internship than I had in all four years of college. From day one, I was a real part of the team I worked with. I attended meetings, created submittals and RFIs, QC’d wall panel forms, tracked daily logs, and so much more. By the end of the summer, I did not only walk away with an abundance of knowledge, I walked away with lasting relationships and mentors. To this day, those relationships have continued to flourish and my knowledge in construction grows more and more every day.
