Hannah’s Internship Experience at RNGD
Ever wondered what it's like to be an intern at RNGD? Hannah shares her summer journey, practical advice, key takeaways, and tips for making the most of your time in the construction industry.
What was the coolest thing you did this summer? Delivering a public bid in Baton Rouge with Dalton Baglio. We turned it in with only 15 seconds to spare! It was stressful but incredibly exciting.
How did your perspective change during the summer? I started thinking I only wanted to do estimating, but now I want to try so much more. Getting hands-on exposure to different parts of projects really changed how I view the industry.
What was your biggest takeaway from the internship? Realizing how much opportunity exists in construction. There are so many different paths—estimating, project management, field work, business development—and seeing how important relationships and collaboration is across all of them.
What are your top 3 tips for future interns?
Keep an open mind—learn from every project and person
Bring a positive attitude daily—it changes how you're perceived
Ask questions and get involved—the more you participate, the more valuable your experience becomes.
