A Summer of Learning, Connection, and Growth

This summer, our RNGD NextGen interns immersed themselves in the people, projects, and culture that drive our company forward. Through hands-on experiences, meaningful conversations, and opportunities to see the built environment from every angle, this year's interns gained valuable insight into the construction industry while making an impact of their own.

Over the course of the program, interns stepped outside the classroom and into the field through a series of jobsite visits, giving them a firsthand look at the planning, coordination, and execution required to bring complex projects to life. From active construction sites to conversations with project teams, each visit offered a deeper understanding of the work happening across RNGD's diverse portfolio.

The experience extended beyond project work. This summer's intern-only book club created an opportunity for thoughtful discussion, professional development, and collaboration among peers from different disciplines. The conversations sparked new ideas, broadened perspectives, and reinforced the importance of continuous learning, no matter where you are in your career.

As National Intern Day approached, the group gathered for a happy hour celebration to recognize the contributions they had made throughout the summer. It was an opportunity to reflect on shared experiences, build lasting connections, and celebrate the relationships formed along the way.

The program culminated with final presentations, where interns showcased key takeaways, lessons learned, and the insights they gained throughout their time at RNGD. Their presentations highlighted not only the knowledge they developed over the summer, but also the curiosity, creativity, and professionalism they brought to every opportunity.

We are proud of everything our Summer 2026 NextGen interns accomplished and grateful for the energy and fresh perspectives they brought to our teams.
